Technology is very important because it has changed the way life is done every day. It has saved lives, changed the way we move, and how we entertain ourselves. Technology has drastically changed over the past five years because now we have touch screen computers, extremely fast smart phones, and much faster transportation. If technology continues to change how fast as it does now, in five years there is no limit of how far it can go.
Every day I use technology in school and if I did not have technology, school would be much harder than it already is. I use computers throughout the day, projectors, and watch movies to learn. I mainly use my phone and computers for my personal use because they are all that I need for information or entertainment.
I will use most of the tools I learned from Online Experience B because they are tools that I will need to use when I move onto college and the work place. Wikis and learning how to use Google Docs is a lifelong tool that I am glad that I learned. I will probably never blog again because that is not me. My favorite tool was using excel because there are so many things you can do with it and you will need to learn how to use it if you advance you education. My east favorite tool was screencasting because I really didn't see the point in doing it.

Screencast - How to make a Blog Post
For this screencast I used Screenr. After having used Screencast-O-Matic and Screenr, I prefer using Screenr. You had the option of logging in with your Google, Twitter, or Facebook account with Screenr which made it a lot easier to make an account and get your embed code. The options of Screenr and Screencast were almost identical, but the website made the difference. Screenr was much more user friendly and I liked it much more.
Screencast
A screencast is a program that allows you to record whatever you are doing on your computer. What I liked about creating one was that you know that it will help others in what you are trying to do. The thing I disliked about ti was that you have to be very careful in how you explain things or else the person will not be able to completely follow along with what your doing. This would be most helpful to someone that needs a quick tutorial on how to do something or someone who plans on making tutorials for a living.

Google Docs vs. Windows Live
After having used Windows Live and Google Docs, Google Docs is much easier to use and is much easier to navigate. Windows Live has many options to choose from, but does not have nearly as many options that Google Docs has to offer. Google Docs also is very organized by clicking on one pull down menu, you can see everything that Google Docs has to offer. Although Windows Live allows you to use the actual Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, Google Docs has many other options that are just as good.

Technology Article - Smartphones, not computers, drive most Facebook use
Most people would believe that Facebook is mainly accessed through a computer, but recent studies have shown tht Facebook is used 81% of the time through the smartphone Facebook app. The people that run Facebook admit that since there are less people using the computer version that advertisements are not being seen by the public which makes Facebook and many of the companies on it lose business and overall money coming in is lower than usual. The facebook app does not show advertisements and Facebook is looking for a way to implement a way of putting advertisements on the page, but not making you become distracted by them.
